The Tour

Our goal is to provide a one-of-a-kind experience to intrepid travelers who love to drive, eat well, sample delicious local wines, and discover exciting new destinations.

The concept is simple – we remove the hassle of vacation planning so you can focus on one thing once you arrive in Nice: sliding behind the wheel of your cabriolet and cruising down some of the most spectacular roads on the planet. Daily routes are meticulously designed to highlight the best roads, villages, restaurants, and sights of the French Riviera and arriere pays (back-country).

The tour is designed in a convoy format (with a lead car) but guests are always free to blaze their own trail through the French countryside if they wish, i.e., it’s not mandatory to drive in a rally formation. Tour booklets, satellite navigation systems, and two-way radios help ensure that your next destination is never in doubt.

What’s included:

Round trip ground transfers from Nice Airport to St Paul de Vence
6 nights at Hotel La Grande Bastide in St Paul de Vence
5 days car rental (fuel, delivery, and pick-up included)
Daily itineraries, activities, lead car, and guide
Two-way radio (one per vehicle)
All breakfasts, lunches, and dinners (except for lunch on Wednesday and Thursday in the village)
Welcome drink upon arrival
Wine tastings and events

What’s not included:

International and domestic flights
Travel insurance
Hotel services including laundry and unscheduled meals and drinks
Amount of deductible in case of damage to vehicles

A minimum of four guest vehicles is required per tour.

Riviera Driving Tours reserves the right to alter the itinerary in cases of unforseen circumstances such as inclement weather, road closings, etc.

Price is per person (double occupancy) in US Dollars.

It is superbly planned to the infinite detail but you never feel like you are being pushed or pulled. I would take this tour in any country it is offered.
